Easy Pants / Kick Flares

The ultimate wardrobe staple, these pants are designed for any occasion.The shape hugs the body closely until the hips, then gracefully flares out into a wide hem. Make them in your choice of ankle-length kick flare or classic length, add optional pockets and enjoy the convenience of ponte fabric that eliminates the need for a zipper.

Description

You will learn the basics of garment construction: how to use a sewing machine, how to read patterns and how to craft a garment professionally, a piece that fits and looks good.

We sew on domestic sewing machines. At the end of this course, you will take home a finished garment and a sewing pattern that you will have adapted to your body. This will enable you to make more pieces for yourself, either at home or in our studio.

Level

This course is suitable for beginning dressmakers. Preferably you already know the bare basics of using a sewing machine.

What to bring

We provide everything you need to complete the course. If you like you can bring along:

Your own sewing utensils
A notebook / your own sewing journal
Comfortable shoes for operating the sewing machine pedal

Tuition: 200 CHF, 160 CHF AHV/Legi

Discounts: Regular customers (from 2nd course attendance) receive a 10% discount on tuition
