Dressmaking for Youth - Beginners

Sew your new favorite piece! This course is for students aged 12 and up. Whether you're a beginner or have some prior experience – after this week, you're guaranteed to have something self-made to wear. During this week, you'll have time to complete at least 2 items. We offer a selection of suitable sewing patterns (hoodie, sweatshirt, skirt, shorts, trousers, jumpsuit, or bag), but you are also welcome to bring your own ideas to life.

Program

Day 1

• Let's get sewing! Learn the basics of using a sewing machine, including setup, operation and troubleshooting.
• Practice your skills with sewing and overlocking.
• Choose your perfect pattern from our selection and we'll help you adjust it to fit.
• Explore our range of fabrics. We have something suitable for the designs on hand starting at CHF 25.- per meter. Or, feel free to bring your own!

Day 2 - Day 5

• Sew Your Garments

Guided by us, you set your own pace, and we guarantee your success. Any projects not completed during the week can be finished at Atelier Feldegg for free whenever you're ready.

Course fees and additional costs

• Course fee per week: CHF 220.-
• Included: Haberdashery (white or black thread, needles, vintage buttons, elastic band) and use of the sewing patterns.
• You can pay the course fee either in cash or via Twint on the first day of the course

Additional Information

Before the course starts, we recommend choosing your fabric. We're happy to help you select the perfect fabric for your project. Just stop by or give us a call.
